Professional experience
Priscilla brings over ten years of professional experience and a foundation built in demanding environments. She has worked alongside respected trainers at rescue ranches and at national training organisations, and those two settings teach very different but complementary lessons. Rescue ranch work exposes a trainer to dogs with unknown histories, inconsistent handling and genuine behavioural damage, while national organisations impose structure, standards and accountability. Priscilla has operated in both, and the combination has given her the range to address a wide spread of behavioural challenges rather than a narrow specialism. Her hands on experience is the substance behind her results, and she has a consistent record of helping dogs and owners reach outcomes that hold rather than fade. For owners weighing up trainers, the decade of experience matters, but the setting in which it was earned matters more. Priscilla has worked with dogs that other people had given up on, and she brings that same patience and expectation of progress to family pets.
A little bit about me
Priscilla's approach starts from the position that every dog is unique and therefore needs a plan built specifically for it. She concentrates on establishing trust, communication and a genuine relationship between dog and owner, which takes her work well past basic obedience into something more durable. Commands are the easy part. The bond that makes a dog want to work with its owner is what she is actually building. Driven by a longstanding passion for rescue work, Priscilla's ambition is to own a rescue ranch of her own, a place where she can train, rehabilitate and foster dogs while they wait for permanent homes. That goal says something useful about her priorities as a trainer. She is in this for the dogs that need the most help, and clients benefit from a professional whose motivation runs considerably deeper than the job itself.
