Njoud began her journey in dog training after adopting her first dog, Ace, in 2011. What started as a personal interest quickly grew into a passion for understanding canine behavior and strengthening communication between dogs and their owners. Her early experience volunteering with rescue organizations and shelters further shaped her approach to training. She has worked with dogs of various breeds, ages, and backgrounds, offering training in puppy development, adolescent training, advanced obedience, agility, behavior modification, anxiety-related behaviors, and working with fearful dogs. Njoud also prepares dogs for American Kennel Club (AKC) testing. As an AKC evaluator, she conducts official testing and certification for dogs that are already trained and ready to be evaluated. In accordance with AKC guidelines, she does not evaluate dogs she has personally trained, but instead offers preparation programs for owners interested in pursuing AKC titles. She holds the Animal Behavior College Dog Trainer (ABCDT) certification along with additional certifications in shelter dog training, dog nutrition, pet massage, and pet CPR and first aid, and continues her education through ongoing workshops and seminars. đ

Njoud's unique approach to dog training is rooted in a deep understanding of canine psychology and the use of positive reinforcement. She firmly believes that a dog's behavior is a form of communication, and her focus is on unraveling the underlying reasons for their actions, rather than simply addressing surface-level symptoms. Her dedication to helping dogs with behavioral challenges centers on identifying the sources of their behavior and working to heal those issues. In her professional journey, Njoud has explored various facets of dog training, from nurturing puppies to guiding senior dogs through their twilight years. Her remarkable experience largely revolves around her work with shelter dogs, particularly those struggling with fearful behavior. Njoud's expertise lies in coaxing out their true personalities, bolstering their confidence, and enabling them to lead happier lives. She also relishes the challenge of advanced training, particularly with working breeds, and delights in preparing puppies for a prosperous future. Looking ahead, Njoud Aghabi envisions a future where her commitment to continuous education remains unwavering. Her plans involve pursuing additional certifications, attending more workshops and seminars, and expanding her knowledge base. Above all, she aspires to establish a dog sanctuary, a haven nestled on sprawling acres of land, where dogs can thrive in a positive environment. This sanctuary will not only serve as a place of learning and growth for dogs but will also encompass a rescue organization, giving back to the community she holds dear. Njoud's future is undoubtedly marked by a tireless dedication to the well-being and understanding of our four-legged companions.
