Joseph

Joseph is an Advanced Dog Trainer with a background in psychological and behavioural studies. He earned his advanced certification through a competitive dog training academy program and has spent the years since applying that foundation to everything from firsttime puppy owners to complex behavioural cases. Reactive and aggressive dogs have become a signature of his practice, including a highly aggressive German Shepherd that other trainers in the region wouldn’t take on, which Joseph rehabilitated over the course of a structured program.

Alongside his dog training credentials, Joseph brings years of experience in wellness coaching and personal training. That background shapes how he works with families: training the dog is only half the job, so he invests just as much time coaching owners on the consistency, communication, and follow-through that make new behaviours stick at home.

I believe the best training happens when the dog and the owner learn together. Every dog is different, so I don’t run cookie-cutter programs: I build plans around your dog’s temperament, your household, and the day-to-day life you’re both trying to live. My approach is patient, trust-based, and rooted in clear communication. I want your dog to be calm and confident in the real world, not just perfectly obedient in a training vacuum. I share my home with Dash, my German Shepherd, which has given me a real appreciation for the breed and the way high-drive dogs need to be worked with. Whether you’re navigating a reactive walk, a puppy who won’t settle, or a rescue with a difficult history, my goal is the same: a calmer dog, a more confident owner, and a partnership that lasts long after our sessions end.
