Professional experience
Felicity is a dedicated trainer with six years of hands on experience, and her particular strength is puppy foundations. She has been passionate about dogs for as long as she can remember, and that early love has developed into a career built around helping dogs and owners establish relationships that hold up over time. Her focus on foundation work is a deliberate choice rather than a default. Felicity understands that the structure, confidence and skills a young dog acquires in its first months shape the animal it becomes for the rest of its life, and she treats that window as the most valuable opportunity an owner will get. Getting it right early prevents a long list of problems that are considerably harder to unpick later. Alongside puppy work she trains basic through to advanced obedience, and every program she designs is shaped around the specific needs of the dog and the handler rather than delivered as a fixed curriculum. Owners get training built for their dog and their household, not a generic package.
A little bit about me
The part of the work Felicity enjoys most is watching owners grow alongside their dogs. She teaches people how to communicate clearly, how to read and interpret behaviour, and how to genuinely enjoy the process of raising a balanced dog rather than treating it as a problem to be solved. That emphasis on the human side of the partnership is what makes her results stick, because a dog that has been trained well still needs an owner who knows what to do next. Felicity is committed to creating positive and achievable outcomes for both ends of the leash, and she is realistic with owners about what the work involves and what it will take from them. Families who work with her leave understanding their dog considerably better than when they started, which is usually the change that matters most.
