Lalo is a balanced trainer who works from a straightforward conviction, which is that every dog can thrive when positive reinforcement is paired with consistent and gentle guidance. He brings over three years of hands on experience helping dogs and owners work through a broad span of behavioural challenges, from foundation obedience right the way up to complex behaviour modification cases that other trainers have found difficult. Alongside that, he carries nearly three years of specialised experience in canine scent detection for federal law enforcement. That background matters more than it might first appear. Detection work demands precision, exceptional timing, and the ability to read the smallest shifts in a dog's body language, and Lalo brings all three into his work with family pets. Owners benefit from a trainer who has been held to an operational standard and who applies that same rigour to a household dog. His programs are built individually rather than pulled off a shelf, shaped around the dog in front of him and the life that dog is going home to.
A little bit about me
Patience, understanding and genuine care sit at the centre of how Lalo runs a program. He is deliberate about creating an environment where both the dog and the owner feel supported rather than judged, because he has seen how quickly progress stalls when either one is anxious about getting it wrong. Every training plan he writes is tailored specifically to the dog's individual needs and personality, which is what allows the results to hold rather than fade in the weeks after a program ends. What he is really building is a stronger bond between a dog and the family it belongs to.
