Trajectory
With over a decade of experience in animal care and more than five years as a professional dog trainer, I bring a deep, hands-on understanding of canine behavior and communication to every dog I work with. My training career has spanned from foundational obedience and advanced behavior rehabilitation to service dog development and specialized working dog training. My early experience handling fearful and aggressive dogs in veterinary and rescue settings gave me a strong foundation in behavior modification. I later expanded my work into service dog training, helping both dogs and handlers navigate life with confidence and clarity. Today, I also handle search and rescue K9s with Search and Rescue Central Florida, actively deploying on missions and training dogs in scent detection and tracking.
In the sport world, I’m an enthusiastic competitor and trainer in disciplines like dock diving, competitive obedience, Fast CAT, and protection sports. These pursuits not only enrich my own dogs’ lives, but keep my training sharp, purposeful, and driven by results. At the heart of my work is a passion for relationship-based training—building strong, lasting partnerships between dogs and their people. I believe in clear communication, mutual trust, and teaching skills that empower both dog and handler to understand and enjoy each other on a deeper level.
